40 Days of Love – Day26

40 Days of Letting Go and Letting God

40 Days of Lent – Rebirth and Renewal

Rule 26

The universe is one being. Everything and everyone is interconnected through an invisible web of stories. Whether we are aware of it or not, we are all in a silent conversation. Do no harm — practice compassion. And do not gossip behind anyone’s back — not even a seemingly innocent remark! The words that come out of our mouths do not vanish but are perpetually stored in infinite space and they will come back to us in due time. One man’s pain will hurt us all. One man’s joy will make everyone smile.

Today, we are releasing MISTRUST and embracing God’s Love for us.

Our Lent Booklet Invites us today to release and let go of MISTRUST and embrace our true nature that is Divine Love.

Many of us mistrust anything but our minds. We think we can figure it all out, find the perfect solution, and control the outcome. We trust only our own rational thought processes and maybe a smart friend’s advice. When things don’t work out, we may be astonished and depressed and wonder why.

Trusting your rational mind isn’t the answer. Yes, it has a place. First, though, you need to let go of mistrust of God. Recognize that you can depend on God for everything. God can be fully, wholly, completely trusted.

A Course in Miracles says that in God, “There is no sickness not already healed, no lack unsatisfied, no need unmet” (Workbook, Lesson 159). So ask God. Listen and follow. For you, God has all the answers, all the perfect solutions and resolutions, and all the highest outcomes. —Noelle Sterne, Ph.D.

We can choose to embrace ourselves by saying: I trust God, fully, wholly, completely, in all.

Rule No26 invites us today to master compassion and openness. We are reminded to become aware of our unkind words that we sometimes carelessly through around and know that each one carry energies or either LOVE  or HATE.

Daily contemplative task: Today, I invite you to contemplate on the rule, the text above, and the quote below. In your meditation,  I would like you to contemplate on how much you trust yourself, that part of you that is ever-connected to the Divine Presence.

Please share your journey and experiences with me. Thank you.

Today we affirm: Today, I release MISTRUST.

Daily quotes:

But I trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.—Psalm 13:5

He who does not trust enough, will not be trusted. – Lao Tzu

Note : *My writing is based on the book “40 Rules of Love” by by Elif Shafak and The Lent booklet by Unity.org

Personally, I think it is important to find the True meaning behind the word ‘LOVE’,  understand it and experience it as a Spiritual Quality inherently within us.

I am going to walk this 40-day Lenten journey contemplating on the True meaning of Love, Divine Love, Spiritual Love for me by experimenting with the 40 rules and quotes from the Lent Booklet. Every day, between

the 5th of March to the 21 April 2025,

I will post a ‘rule’ from the book ’40 rules of Love’ and an a release idea from the book ’40 days of Rebirth and Renewal – Lent 2025′ by Unity.org. Then, we will contemplate on it and share about it in the UNITY EUROPE Facebook Group (CLICK HERE).

Let’s walk this journey together!
