40 Days of Letting Go and Letting God
40 Days of Lent – Rebirth and Renewal
Rule 30
“The true Sufi is such that even when he is unjustly accused, attacked and condemned from all sides, he patiently endures, uttering not a single bad word about any of his critics. A Sufi never apportions blame. How can there be opponents or rivals or even “others” when there is no “self” in the first place? How can there be anyone to blame when there is only One? “*

Today, we are releasing JUDGEMENT and embracing God’s Love for us.
Our Lent Booklet Invites us today to release and let go of JUDGEMENT and embrace our true nature that is Divine Love.
Overcoming our tendency to judge others is not always easy. What is easy is to constantly evaluate how our neighbour is doing, earning, purchasing, or vacationing compared to us. Traits we judge harshly in others are often the same things we fail to see in ourselves. We may try to distance ourselves by criticizing, but on closer inspection we may find the very behaviors we deplore in others are the same in us. Uncomfortable! Compassion is impossible when we are filled with judgment. Not only are we unable to see the other with eyes of compassion, we cannot offer ourselves compassion either. Let’s open our hearts and know that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience. Sometimes that experience includes less than attractive behavior—both in “them” and in us. —Rev. Lulu Logan
We can choose to embrace ourselves by saying: I open my hands and my heart and release judgment against others as well as myself.
Rule No30 and today’s Lenten reading invite us today to see ourselves and others in Oneness. It is time to realise that we are all connected though Spirit.
Daily contemplative task: Today, I invite you to contemplate on the rule, the text above, and the quote below. In your meditation, focus into Oneness and experiment with noticing how you are part of the entire universe and everyone and everything in it.
Please share your journey and experiences with me. Thank you.
Today we affirm: Today, I release judgement.
Daily quotes:
Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?—Matthew 7:3
Judgements prevent us from seeing the good that lies beyond appearances. Wayne Dyer
Note : *My writing is based on the book “40 Rules of Love” by by Elif Shafak and The Lent booklet by Unity.org
Personally, I think it is important to find the True meaning behind the word ‘LOVE’, understand it and experience it as a Spiritual Quality inherently within us.
I am going to walk this 40-day Lenten journey contemplating on the True meaning of Love, Divine Love, Spiritual Love for me by experimenting with the 40 rules and quotes from the Lent Booklet. Every day, between
the 5th of March to the 21 April 2025,
I will post a ‘rule’ from the book ’40 rules of Love’ and an a release idea from the book ’40 days of Rebirth and Renewal – Lent 2025′ by Unity.org. Then, we will contemplate on it and share about it in the UNITY EUROPE Facebook Group (CLICK HERE).
Let’s walk this journey together!
