40 Days of Letting Go and Letting God
40 Days of Lent – Rebirth and Renewal
Rule 39
“While the part change, the whole always remains the same. For every thief who departs this world, a new one is born. And every decent person who passes away is replaced by a new one. In this way, not only does nothing remain the same, but also nothing ever really changes. For every Sufi who dies, another is born somewhere. “*

Today, we are releasing FEAR and embracing God’s Love for us.
Our Lent Booklet Invites us today to release and let go of FEAR and embrace our true nature that is Divine Love.
What do you put your faith in? On Good Friday when Jesus knew he would be crucified, he put his faith in Spirit. In his awareness that his mortality was to come to an end, he might have felt alarm at losing his life.
However, in the next moment, he turned to the Divine. Jesus honored what was about to come to pass as vital and in divine order. He trusted his physical death would give way to his greatest triumph.
What if you used this powerful lesson whenever you experience an event that causes you concern? Feel the trepidation of not understanding how a situation could be for your good. But with Jesus as your guiding light, trust the Divine has something even greater in store for you. —Rev. Sheree Taylor-Jones
We can choose to embrace ourselves by saying: I rise in faith and overcome hurdles.
Rule No39 invites us today to see the circle of life. We enter our physical existence then leave. And as soon as we do so, someone else enters in our place. Not replacing us, who we were, but no space stays empty in God’s universe. Let’s make the best of it!
Daily contemplative task: Today, I invite you to contemplate on the rule, the text above, and the quote below. In your meditation, I would like you to contemplate on your relationship with your own Divinity and the Divine Presence. Where do you put your faith? Why don’t you place it with God? What do you have to lose?
Please share your journey and experiences with me. Thank you.
Today we affirm: Today, I release fear.
Daily quotes:
So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.—Matthew 10:31
Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones. Thich Nhat Hanh
Note : *My writing is based on the book “40 Rules of Love” by by Elif Shafak and The Lent booklet by Unity.org
Personally, I think it is important to find the True meaning behind the word ‘LOVE’, understand it and experience it as a Spiritual Quality inherently within us.
I am going to walk this 40-day Lenten journey contemplating on the True meaning of Love, Divine Love, Spiritual Love for me by experimenting with the 40 rules and quotes from the Lent Booklet. Every day, between
the 5th of March to the 21 April 2025,
I will post a ‘rule’ from the book ’40 rules of Love’ and an a release idea from the book ’40 days of Rebirth and Renewal – Lent 2025′ by Unity.org. Then, we will contemplate on it and share about it in the UNITY EUROPE Facebook Group (CLICK HERE).
Let’s walk this journey together!
