Programs for Youth

Universal Spirituality

Many parents who are not ‘religious’ but interested in spirituality, often worry about their children spiritual education. Most spiritual or religious organisation has a specific ‘teaching’, set of dogmas, and an ‘agenda’. They wish to recruit people for their ‘teachings’, their understanding of spiritual ideas, and build communities based on these.

At UNITY, we offer five basic principles – see them here CLICK. and an array of tools to develop something we call ‘universal spirituality’. UNITY has no agenda and though we wish to build communities, our aim is that the members of these communities follow their own understanding of spirituality, Spirit, Higher-Self, the Divine Presence or God. We wish our members to have a personal inner experience of their own spirituality and the Divine.

Universal Spiritual Education for Youth

Our YOUTH AND FAMILY PROJECT offers a universal spiritual educational program for children/young people between the ages 7-14.

During the program, young people learn Emotional Intelligence (E.Q.) and Spiritual Intelligence Skills (S.Q.)based on the works of Danial Colman and Cindy Wiggleworth.

The program is organised around the 21 S.Q. Skills identified by Ms Wiggleworth in her book. Additionally, young people are introduced to various spiritual traditions in a practical manner. They look at the historical background of the spiritual tradition, the basic teachings and rituals.

The main aim of the program is enable young people to chose the spiritual tradition, practices and rituals that suit them best. By developing the 21 S.Q. Skills they will become peaceful leaders of the future.

UNITY YOUTH PROJECT provides a safe, embracing and supportive COMMUNITY for them to explore, investigate, and develop freely in.

What is Unity?

Honouring Our Origins

by Rev Rachel Wotten

Charles and Myrtle Fillmore never set out to build a traditional church. Their mission wasn’t about creating institutions, rules, or rigid structures – but rather about empowering individuals through spiritual education, healing, and the metaphysical understanding of Truth.

Notice how we don’t say “Rev. Charles” or “Rev. Myrtle”? That’s because their legacy wasn’t built on religious titles or hierarchy, but on deep, lived spirituality that invited others into their own awakening

Unity began with simple, yet powerful correspondence courses sent through the mail (Silent Unity came a while later). Today, the modern equivalent is online spiritual learning – accessible anytime, anywhere. They weren’t building a monument; they were igniting a movement.

Not a church with walls, but a consciousness without limits. Not a religion to follow, but a Truth to embody.

The Sunday “service” wasn’t part of a formal blueprint – it emerged organically. It was a natural response to the deep yearning people had to learn how to heal themselves, connect with the Divine, experience community, share spiritual practices, and receive soul nourishment.

As we continue this work, it’s vital to remember: we are not here to replicate traditional church models, structures or processes.

We are not building walls, hierarchies, or borders. What we are creating is a space for spiritual exploration, awakening, education and personal transformation.

A Unity-based movement or metaphysical gathering serves five vital purposes:

1. Spiritual Education and Empowerment
Each Sunday, we gather as a community to deepen and reinforce the spiritual principles we’re learning and living ourselves. Through affirmative prayer, metaphysical insight, and practical spirituality, we support one another in conscious, creative, and empowered living. This isn’t about teaching dogma – it’s about exploring together how to embody a presence that isn’t outside of us, but within us and all around us: an omnipresent Source moving through, in, and as us.

“It’s not what we believe in Unity that matters, but how we use what we believe.”

2. Consciousness and Community Building
These gatherings are about aligning our energy fields and amplifying a shared intention. When two or more come together in elevated consciousness, a powerful metaphysical forcefield is created. It anchors us, helping us remember and embody the teachings for the week – or the journey ahead as a shared collective.

“Where two or more are gathered…” is not just poetic—it’s energetic.

3. Spiritual Healing and Alignment
People may arrive feeling fragmented, anxious, or depleted. But through music, meditation, affirmative prayer, and metaphysical teachings – including metaphysical interpretations of the Bible – we help re-center, re-attune, and re-align each person with the Divine within. Each meetingbecomes a sacred recalibration.

“Healing is not changing who you are; it’s remembering who you are.”

4. Demonstrating the Christ Consciousness
This isn’t about worshiping an external saviour (though you’re welcome to, if that speaks to you!). It’s about realising and authentically living from – the Divine within. The meetings become a sacred space to embody and express the Christ idea, to live from Christ consciousness, and to honor this I AM presence in ourselves and in one another.

“Christ in you, your hope of glory” – not someday, but now – I am… the I AM.

5. Spiritual Activation and Action
This isn’t passive inspiration. It’s about activating and living through action. Attendees are called to be healers in their own lives, to embody abundance, to live Truth no matter what they do, and to bring transformation into the world for themselves and others. Be the Light Bearers.

“You are the light of the world. Live that light!”

So, while it may look like a “service” – this is not a church service in the traditional sense. It is:

· A spiritual training ground
· A healing vortex
· A consciousness laboratory
· A sacred reminder of who we really are

Charles and Myrtle’s movement was a call to spiritual freedom, personal empowerment, and direct connection with the Divine and it’s our responsibility now to keep that spirit alive: fluid, inclusive, evolving – radically and spiritually transformative. They were the original Spiritual Influencers, before hashtags were a thing.

A movement birthed from spiritual curiosity, divine love, empowered thinking, and the belief that each soul is divine and capable of transformation.

Fear and control vs true happiness

This podcast above starts with describing Pastor Kudlik’s personal journey of chasing happiness around the globe, travelling from one place to another, in vain.

Then it delves into discussing insecurity, anxiety and fear and how it led into an obsession with control.

Fear, though we do not notice it most of the time because we often see control as an empowered state of being, takes over our life and eventually, we find that it has taken over every aspect of our life. It is exhausting.

Unity suggests that surrendering is empowering, it is not giving-up, it is not an external submission to something.

God is an energy, a higher state of being. Meditation helps connecting with inner peace and the experience of loving of God, though it is not the only way to experience the Loving.

The podcast also talks about what Unity is; the founders and fundamental teaching; and the main teaching which is a deep acceptance of our unique individuality.

From Bitterness to Wholeness

This is a PERSONAL ENRICHMENT and HEALING program

INTRODUCTION

Healing is recovery from a set of mis-beliefs and (dis)illusion(ment). We are in constant search for happiness, contentment, and success. What we do not realise is that our disposition (the way we generally think and feel) determines whether we feel happy or not.

As we walk the journey of healing or recovery we realise that we are the source of our own happiness and contentment. It is a commitment to self. Instead of being in constant search of an outer source of ‘fulfillment’, we realise that we are our own saviour.

At a certain stage of the journey we also realise that true happiness and fulfillment is drawn from the relationship that we create with our ‘greater-self’ and the Divine Presence that we all part of.

THIS PROGRAM – through various stages – walks you through the process from simple awareness to wholeness in Self and Oneness with the Divine Presence.

FROM BITTERNESS TO WHOLENESS

Our spiritual evolution is a process on an upward spiral. But for now it feels that I really understand the cycle of the journey I call from Bitterness to Wholeness. I look at it as a cycle because it is constantly swirling presence of energy. I walk this journey with consciousness awareness on a daily basis in a very practical way. In order to get here, however, I needed to discover the major elements that I call stations on this journey.

The stations are:
1. Self awareness aka becoming present
2. Forgiveness and letting go aka release
3. Awareness of the greater picture aka acceptance
4. Gratitude and Compassion aka embrace
5. Wholeness and Oneness aka surrender into the Loving of God

Each element or station, as I discovered them in their depth, builds on each other that’s why I call this a psiral process.

The Process

1. Probably self-awareness is or has been the major part of my journey because it comprises of a lot of different things. On one hand, it is a discovery of our denials, lies, bitterness, frustration, anger or our victimhood. It is also about breaking down the false self-image that we built to protect ourselves. It is also about our wishes and dreams. At the same time, it helps us discover our powers, strengths, and uniqueness. And finally, it is about looking at our journey so far – becoming aware of the glorious as well as the painful events in our lives; how we have integrated all that into our understanding of ourselves; and what conclusions we have drawn about ourselves as a result of these events. Though self-awareness is a great part of the journey, it’s only the beginning or the foundation of the greater journey.

2. The second station is forgiveness and letting go. This is probably the most challenging part of the spiral. We need to understand, however, that forgiveness and letting go open the door to greater, deeper and more beautiful experiences . Through forgiveness and letting go, we, literally, embrace our Life with all its twists and turns in its entirety. Letting go often refers to letting go of false ideas, self images, and misunderstandings as well as false expectations.

3. We have arrived to the actual ‘spiritual’ part of our journey. The next step on our spiral staircase is actually the result of the previous two steps, which is awareness of the greater picture or  of the greater journey, and an awareness of our greater-self. Meditation, contemplation, and connecting to the Divine Presence is a big part of this stage. This is the station where we start becoming aware of our spirit, our higher self, our spiritual journey, our relationship with the Divine Presence or God. As we do that, we can start moving into the Loving with IT ALL, including ourselves. Loving is a sense of alignment and an awareness that we are part of ‘everything’ and ‘everything’ is the part of us. This alignment helps us accept all there is just as they are, knowing that all that is going on right now is part of a greater movement, and all is well.

4. The next station of the spiral staircase is gratitude. As a result of seeing the greater picture and becoming aware of our own indwelling Loving Spirit that is constantly connected to God’s Loving Presence, and being able to experience this loving presence more consciously, we automatically become grateful. Gratitude is a conscious action. We choose to see the good. We develop faith in the good in self, in others, and in the Universe. In our gratitude, we start seeing the puzzle pieces of our lives in greater depth and as part of a bigger picture with all its challenges and beauties. We willingly see how our life is built with precision, care and Loving. We also start to see how difficulties, challenges, drama, even devastation, overcoming, and triumphs, all add to the greater movement of Life itself for us all. In gratitude, we stop judging, blaming, shaming, and expecting: We arrive to a sense of peace. I see compassion as an accompaniment to Gratitude. As we are compassionate, we accept all there is, as it is. Compassion helps us be grateful.

5. As we practice all the above steps, we find ourselves surrendered to the Flow of Life. At this stage, we consciously align ourselves with the Loving Presence of God. As a result, we simply find ourselves in wholeness with ourselves, our lives and our (imperfect)  world; and in Oneness with the Loving that is of God.

What is on offer?

In Unity we talk about ‘raising our level of consciousness from the material world to the immaterial in a way that it effects our physical journey in a positive and practical way’. We offer various classes, workshops, individual discussions (mentoring sessions) that will support you the walk the cycles of the upward journey at your own pace in your own time with your own level of awareness using UNITY tools and ART.

OUR greatest wish for you is that you can walk your journey called Life with greater awareness of your own unique beauty, and a deeper sense of knowing of the Divine Presence that watches over you at every step of your journey, so you can experience more loving, happiness, contentedness, joy, and much more smiles.

What is UNITY in EUROPE?

Everybody wants to be a superstar these days. I wonder why? I suspect it is because everybody wants to stand out from the grey crowd.

Deep down we all know that we are unique beings. However, most of us live blended into the grey mass that we call people. I believe the main reason behind that is that we actually do not know our uniqueness, we do not know what is special about us, and so we don’t know how to stand into that beautiful uniqueness either.

We seem to spend most of our lives fulfilling roles, for example that of a mother, of a father, of a good worker, and so on, instead of finding out what we truly stand for and live it vivaciously!

I believe that true happiness comes from a fulfilling life that is grounded in self-knowledge and knowing ourselves in the Divine (call It what works for you).

There is no one-holy-way to happiness and fulfilment. We are all asked to go out and find our own path. It can be a daunting task when walked alone.

UNITY offers a supportive community so you can find what is uniquely you and yours.

Our teachings are universal and always tailored to your needs.

What does UNITY Offer?

• A supportive global community of people from all walks of life
• Classes and workshops around various spiritual and self-educational themes
