40 Days of Letting Go and Letting God
40 Days of Lent – Rebirth and Renewal
Closing Chord
Easter Monday is the Christian holiday that follows Easter Sunday, commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the tomb following his crucifixion.
How have I come this far? It is because God is my partner.
Today, I am contemplating how far I have come, how much I have let go of during the past 40 days, and if I am ready to resurrect.
What does resurrection mean? Well, it does not mean that one becomes a living being after having been dead. Resurrection is a kind of renewal in Spirit, in the consciousness of Loving. After having spent 40 days letting go of what stands between me and God, I ask myself, have far have I come?
One of my main themes this life time is Trust: trusting God, trusting Life, trusting myself. I am dependable but am I trustworthy in terms of choices and responses to life’s events? I have always felt alone, without much support or someone to turn to.
Having God in my life and having God being my partner does not mean that God is sitting in my lounge discussing my next moves. God is an energy of Loving that guides me if I listen and that listening is a result of my turning within and attuning to God’s Living Loving Presence residing within me as a spark.
I am a pusher and a controller. Sometimes, I am so afraid that the only way for me to feel secure is to control my world around me, and push through everything that I think I want. This behaviour does not come from the Loving and from my connection with God. It comes from fear and the limitation of feeling alone in the world.
Today, I am looking at how far I have come. Though I doubt myself and my decisions a lot, I trust myself and God more than ever before. Over the past couple of years, I made decisions that I had thought I would never make. Over the past 40 days, I have managed to undertake tasks that seemed absolutely impossible to do when I had set out to do them. These are my reference points. I could not have done them alone or on my own. God has walked with me, encouraged me, ensured that I find my way back to alignment when I had lost hope. It is dance done by two.
Doubt never ceases. It is just part of being a human being. But when I close my eyes and connect with God, I know I am not alone, I am guided and I am Loved.
Share your journey with me, please. I would love to hear your Love story.
With many Blessings and In Loving, Rev Kudlik

Personally, I think it is important to find the True meaning behind the word ‘LOVE’, understand it and experience it as a Spiritual Quality inherently within us.
I am going to walk this 40-day Lenten journey contemplating on the True meaning of Love, Divine Love, Spiritual Love for me by experimenting with the 40 rules and quotes from the Lent Booklet. Every day, between
the 5th of March to the 21 April 2025,
I will post a ‘rule’ from the book ’40 rules of Love’ and an a release idea from the book ’40 days of Rebirth and Renewal – Lent 2025′ by Unity.org. Then, we will contemplate on it and share about it in the UNITY EUROPE Facebook Group (CLICK HERE).
Let’s walk this journey together!
