Our aim is to increase SPIRITUAL INNER AWARENESS.
In practical terms, our shared aim, as a COMMUNITY, is to support ourselves and one another in our inner development. By “inner” we mean PERSONAL, EMOTIONAL (E.Q) and SPIRITUAL (S.Q.) development.
At every gathering, we have the opportunity to get to know ourselves more deeply and to explore the beauty of our inner world. We also have the opportunity to connect with the energy of Divine Love and Wholeness—which, in practical terms, means accepting and loving ourselves, our lives, our struggles, our shortcomings, and so on. God is not some old man sitting in the sky. God is the energy of Love itself—the Love that we also generate towards ourselves, towards others, and towards life. When we turn inward, seeking our inner world, we are seeking and finding God! God is the energy of Love.
Through practical topics, playful activities, various meditation practices, and creative sessions, we support ourselves and one another when we “come together”.
The strength of the COMMUNITY lies in ACCEPTANCE.
During our gatherings, everyone is invited to seek and discover their own “truth” and their own “path”. At gatherings led by UNITY ministers, there are no “moral lessons” or “teachings” imposed upon us. We ourselves are the “story” that unfolds. The pastor simply facilitates the conversations and activities and creates opportunities for discovery and exploration.
In this COMMUNITY, everyone is both a teacher and a student at the same time. We have no all-knowing gurus here. Each person is their own messiah and their own guru.
IMPORTANT! Why is “self-exploration”, “self-knowledge”, and the experience of Wholeness&Oneness important?
No one but you can answer this question for yourself. However, one thing is true for everyone: these provide us with the possibility of having a choice in how our lives unfold. Without them, we may simply “drift through life”, allowing our past, our fears, and our environment to determine “how we should live”.
